Spring awakening

The old town of Rheinfeld invites you.

Over 60 stores in the old town are open for you. A fashion show will take place on the stage at Zähringerplatz. There will also be a variety of activities for children, such as craft activities, hands-on activities and a carousel. Visitors can also enjoy a flea market in the museum, free guided tours of the town and a boat trip from Basel to Rheinfelden and from Rheinfelden to Basel. If you want to get up high, visit the Storchennestturm and enjoy the beautiful view over the town.

Spring entertainment for everyone.

The Spring Awakening offers guests a varied entertainment program. You can look forward to:

• Fashion show on Zähringerplatz at 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00
• Car exhibition in front of the Feldschlösschen Restaurant
• Children's carousel on the Zähringerplatz
• Children's handicrafts and face painting in front of the town hall
• Various activities in the Fricktal Museum
• Public guided tours of the town

Want a view of the town? The Storchennestturm opens its doors from 11:00 to 17:00 for all those who want to get up high. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Old Town. Guided tours of the tower take place every hour on the hour (last tour at 4.00 pm).

Take the opportunity to discover the city tours "Houses that tell stories" and "Living, loving and suffering in the Middle Ages". Participation is free of charge, but booking is strongly recommended due to high demand.

Spring awakening with the Fricktal Museum.

Discover a variety of free activities at the Fricktal Museum:

• Kater Mautz and Memory - with a difference! Search games for children and families. Follow the tracks of the museum cat Ruedi Mautz to his favorite places or find the right memory pairs in the Haus zur Sonne!
• For the curious and book lovers. Flea market in the museum: special finds and great bargains are waiting to be discovered in the Höfli.
• A picture from the past. Photo box in the Hugenfeld room. Go on a journey through time! Dress up in period clothing and take your souvenir photo home with you. (Contribution towards expenses CHF 5)

The Basler Personenschifffahrt boat offers lock trips from Basel to Rheinfelden for the spring awakening. Hop on board, let yourself be pampered and travel in complete relaxation.
