Arrival & Parking
At the highest point of the navigable Rhine and just 20 km from Basel lies the town of Rheinfelden, which can be reached by train and boat as well as via the A3 highway. There are various parking garages on site. The outlying districts and the German sister city are also easy to reach thanks to a dense bus network. The old town is car-free and can be reached on foot from the train station.
Approach
By public transport
Rheinfelden can be reached by Interregio 36 from Zurich main station in just under an hour, and in the opposite direction from Basel in 12 minutes. The S-Bahn trains run from Rheinfelden to Laufenburg.
By car
Take the A3 between Basel and Zurich to Rheinfelden.
From Basel, take exit 14 "Rheinfelden West". Exit 15 "Rheinfelden Ost" is the quickest way to the old town, as well as to Reha Rheinfelden and the "sole uno" wellness world.
By boat
From Basel, the boat comes to Rheinfelden several times a week in summer. The big lock cruise is a great experience for anyone who likes to make the journey their destination. The boat trip takes 2 to 3 hours, depending on the direction.
The old town is car-free and therefore invites you to go shopping unhindered. Cycling is permitted at walking pace.
Parking lots & parking garages
Parking is available either in the Rheinparking, at the Storchennest parking lot or in one of the public parking lots.
Park + Pool spaces are located after the traffic circle in the direction of Magden (highway exit "Rheinfelden West") or at the Schiffacker/Engerfeld sports facilities parking lot. Vehicles may be parked for a maximum of 24 hours. Parking is free of charge at all facilities.
Cars and minibuses can park in the rear part of the Schützen parking lot near the old town.

Mon. - Fri. 08.00 - 20.00 / Sat. 08.00 - 17.00
Maximum parking time: no restriction
There is a transfer point for loading/unloading guests in front of the Confiserie Café Graf at the boat station. Follow the signs to Rheinfelden Schifflände.
There arepublic charging stations for electric cars at the Schützenweg parking lot, the Park-Hotel am Rhein and the Rheinfelden Health Center.

Cross-border Rheinfelden city bus.
The Rheinfelden city bus connects the two towns of Rheinfelden (Baden) and Rheinfelden (Switzerland) every half hour. It serves the railroad stations and the most important residential areas on both sides of the Rhine.
The red minibus with the number 7312 is a disabled-accessible vehicle.
