The Kaiseraugst Rhine ferry has a long tradition. In the 19th century it was a means of transport for agriculture, after the Second World War the Baden border commuters who worked in Switzerland used the ferry as a means of transport.
Today it is a tourist attraction for Kaiseraugst and connects the two countries of Switzerland and Germany.
Evening cruises and fondue cruises are also offered. An additional attractive offer are individually bookable special trips - a great opportunity to discover the country from the Rhine. We recommend a trip from/to Rheinfelden with its beautiful old town. The special trips can only be booked outside the regular ferry operating hours. Chilled drinks are available. Catering must be organised by the customer.
