La Route Verte - e-bike tour

Stage 2: Herznach - Basel

This section of the route leads from Herznach to Balstal. The stage leads through the middle of the Aargau Jura Park with its unique landscapes characterized by high-stem trees. The locally produced apple juice will give you just the energy you need for the onward journey. If you are traveling in spring, you will be enchanted by the blossoming cherry trees! You then reach Balsthal in the Thal Nature Park, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the ruins of Neu Falkenstein Castle.
