Learn more about the genesis of the universe - from the Big Bang to mankind. On the evolution trail from Rheinfelden to Zuzgen, you will hike from milestone to milestone in Jurapark Aargau and can buy regional products along the way.
From the big bang to man.
The 14km hiking trail starts at the Hotel EDEN in the park. Then follow the signpost of the Fricktaler Höhenweg. Along the way, information boards tell the story of the origin of the universe and modern man. Each of the 14km stands for one billion years.

Hiking & Enjoying.
Discover the idyllic hilly landscape of Fricktal. In farm stores, winegrowers and bakeries along the way, you can fortify yourself with local products.
At Bäckerei Meier in Zeiningen, you can even pick up a picnic basket with fine regional ingredients to enjoy along the way. The Jurapark Aargau also has other enjoyment tours on offer
Good to know
The Evolution Trail starts at Hotel EDEN im Park (Long Route) or Zeiningen, Mitteldorf (Short Route) and ends in Zuzgen on the Chriesiberg.
Arrival
Arrival in Rheinfelden by train and bus to Rheinfelden, train station.
Return from bus stop Zuzgen, Oberdorf.
