Rhine Route 2

The Rhine route follows the Alpine river from Andermatt to the major Rhine ports of Basel. Rheinfelden is a stage stop and offers great opportunities to recover from a strenuous bike tour.

Rheinfelden is a stage stop and it is worth spending more than just one night in the Zähringer town. The health-promoting saltwater baths are a welcome respite before the final stage to Basel.

Stage 8: Bad Zurzach - Rheinfelden

This stage starts in the wellness oasis of Bad Zurzach and leads to Koblenz, near the Klingnau reservoir. The picturesque Laufenburg is followed by the wellness destination of Rheinfelden with its beautiful historic old town.
