HOTEL SCHÜTZEN RHEINFELDEN
Rheinfelden's first Solbad Hotel is a traditional 3-star establishment in an idyllic location at the entrance to the old town. In June 2023, the HOTEL SCHÜTZEN RHEINFELDEN will reopen after extensive modernization. The RESTAURANT SCHÜTZEN will remain open on a regular basis.
Former shooting range becomes the first Solbad hotel.
The hotel got its name from the former shooting range. This was located under the Kapuzinerberg before the railroad line was built. In 1846, the owner Fromherz converted the Schützenhaus inn into a hotel.
In the 1st spa hotel of Rheinfelden, bathing was done in bath tubs in special rooms. Today it houses the therapy rooms of the Schützen Clinic. A beautiful mosaic can be found at the rear entrance: "in sale salus" (in salt lies health).
Get married in the art nouveau house.
Celebrate your wedding with up to 120 guests in the magnificent Art Nouveau hall. The garden terrace with the large lime trees is the ideal place for an aperitif or the banquet of a smaller party.
