Rheinfelden Medieval and Fantasy Festival

Medieval festivals and medieval markets are very popular and have been attracting a growing number of visitors for years. It is obvious that Rheinfelden, as the oldest town in the canton of Aargau, with its historic old town, can offer a wonderful backdrop for a festival experience of this kind. The Medieval and Fantasy Festival takes place every two years in the old town of Rheinfelden, alternating with the Youth Festival. The festival is held in cooperation between the town and an external organizer.

The fourth Medieval and Fantasy Festival 2024 is already being planned and will take place on the weekend of June 22 to June 23, 2024 will be held.

The Middle Ages and fantasy come to Rheinfelden.

Not only medieval and fantasy fans - all other guests will also get their money's worth with the varied program: from show fights and camp life, games and jugglers, to fairy tale hours and a fire show, there is plenty on offer for young and old.

Market stalls with medieval crafts.

Over 45 market traders offer their wares for sale on the main square: cloth, knives, leather, furs, swords and jewelry. You can also watch a dyer and a blacksmith at work.
