25th Winter Classic Car Rally AvD-Histo-Monte
For the 25th time, the AvD Histo-Monte will run from Rothenburg ob der Tauber via Freiburg to Rheinfelden and on to Monte Carlo. On Thursday, February 12, 2026, the town will be noisy for a short time.
70 classic cars cross the border after two eventful days through Germany. In Rheinfelden, the teams are allowed to drive over the otherwise closed bridge and through the pedestrian zone into Switzerland. In front of Rheinfelden town hall, participants receive a stamp from the Zähringen town in their logbook. The passage is planned between 9.15 am and 10.45 am.
After this highlight of the tour, the route leads via St. Ursanne in the direction of Lyon to the final destination of Monaco, where the classic car rally ends after almost 2,000 km.
As the sound of historic engines drifts through the streets, Rheinfelden becomes part of the great rally history for a moment. An experience that you don't have on your own doorstep every day.
