A four-course meal and a city tour all in one.

Learn more about beer brewing, the history of beer in Rheinfelden, and where traces of the past can still be found in the old town today. Along the way, you’ll visit three restaurants and enjoy a four-course beer menu.

Don’t like beer or prefer not to drink alcohol? No problem! We’ll be happy to serve you water or a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice with each course.

Food Pairing: Beer and food complement each other perfectly.

The tour guides will take you on a journey through Rheinfelden’s beer history. Together with a beer sommelier, we’ve put together a delicious beer-pairing menu. Each dish’s flavor pairs perfectly with the corresponding beer.

For this culinary experience, we’re partnering with various Rheinfelden restaurants: Restaurant Schützen, Restaurant Rössli, Restaurant Feldschlösschen, Restaurant Rheinmühle, and Bistro Salmen.

A delight from course to course.

Here’s what to expect:

5:30 p.m.: Welcome and introduction
5:45 p.m.: Appetizers with pretzels
6:15 p.m.: Guided tour on the history of beer
6:45 p.m.: Appetizer, e.g., summer salad / soup
7:30 p.m.: Continuation of the beer history tour
8:00 p.m.: Seasonal main course & apricot sorbet for dessert (without tour guide)

A carefully paired beer is served with each course.
