Rhine Stairs Stadtpark Ost
The Stadtpark Ost with the Rhine staircase gives you that holiday feeling. It is a recreational oasis, beach and offers a view of the old town.

The Stadtpark Ost was opened in 2013 after four years of redesign. Since then, it has been a recreational area for young and old. The large playground at the back of the park makes children's hearts beat faster. There are sunbeds on the large lawn and it is also ideal for a game of badminton or a picnic.
The meadows and the bathing area are accessible at all times. You can reach Stadtpark Ost by bus after a short walk via the Rheinfelden Parkresort bus stop. Chargeable parking spaces are available on Roberstenstrasse near the Stadtpark Ost playground.

The highlight in summer is the Rhine steps. Here bathers and Rhine swimmers linger with the most beautiful view of the old town. The Rhybar Kiosk provides refreshments. Right next to the park you will find the Restaurant Bellerive in the Park-Hotel am Rhein with Rhine terrace.
Experienced Rhine swimmers can get in here and float past the Old Town façades to the Inseli with the Wickelfisch and a buoyancy aid. There is no bathing supervision at the bathing area. You swim in the Rhine at your own risk.
