Rhine Steps City Park East
The Stadtpark Ost with the Rhine Steps has that vacation feeling. It is an oasis of relaxation, a beach and offers views of the old town.

Stadtpark Ost was opened in 2013 after four years of redesign. Since then, it has been a recreational space for young and old. The large playground at the back of the park makes children's hearts beat faster. There are sun loungers on the large lawn, which is also ideal for a game of badminton or a picnic.
The meadows and the bathing area are accessible at all times. You can reach the Stadtpark Ost by bus after a short walk via the Rheinfelden Parkresort bus stop. Paid parking spaces are available on Roberstenstrasse near the playground in Stadtpark Ost.

The highlight in summer is the Rhine steps. Bathers and Rhine swimmers linger here with the most beautiful view of the old town. Right next to the park you will find the Bellerive restaurant in the Park-Hotel am Rhein with its Rhine terrace.
Experienced Rhine swimmers get in here and drift past the Old Town facades to the Inseli with the Wickelfisch and a buoyancy aid. There is no lifeguard at the swimming area. Swimming in the Rhine is at your own risk.
