In June 2001 the Original Rhytaxi was founded as a sole proprietorship and in December 2003 expanded to become Rhytaxi Basel GmbH. The host is the managing director René Didden, who, as the son of a Rhine captain, was born into the cradle of navigation. The fleet consists of five ships with the apt names Rhyblitz, Rhyperle, Rhymugge, Rhydampferli and Rhysprysse. All ships offer 12 seats at a large table and can be heated snugly warm in cold weather.
The Rhytaxi Basel GmbH has its own catering offer and will thus celebrate a homely and culinary Rhine experience of a special kind for your company, club or family event. Rhytaxi Basel GmbH offers taxi rides and various round trips from/to Basel.

- Number of persons: Max. 12 persons per Rhytaxi (5 Rhytaxis are possible)
- Catering: The Rhytaxi GmbH has its own catering service.

- Empty journey (Basel-Rheinfelden-Basel): CHF 500.- (price valid in combination with round trip in Rheinfelden)
- 2-hour round trip from/to Rheinfelden: CHF 320 (hourly rate CHF 160)
