On the trail of salt - themed trail from Rheinfelden town park to the Riburg salt works.
The 3.2-kilometre salt trail takes you from the Riburg salt works to the Rheinfelden town park.
The trail is all about Switzerland's salt deposits. Starting with the primeval sea, through antiquity and the Middle Ages to the present day, the trail tells the story of salt. There are 10 different salt pits on the salt trail. The entrance boards are located in Riburg and at the town park in Rheinfelden.
