He takes you back to a time when the balance of power in Europe was repeatedly shattered by the church and secular monarchy.

Everywhere in the old town you will come across references to the highest man in Rheinfelden. For example, on the Inseli, where an art installation shows an oath hand, crown and a statue of his daughter Agnes of Rheinfelden. At the entrance to thetown hall, just to the left after the iron gate there is a cast of the tomb slab of Rudolf of Rheinfelden († 1080).
