A diverse historic old town.
Explore the imposing town hall with its Baroque façade, the court arbour, and the magnificent town hall chamber. Enjoy the stunning view from the Rhine Bridge of the old town facades and the natural scenery along the Rhine riverbank. And if you hear the soft bleating of a billy goat from the alleyways, follow it to the carillon at the “Rumpel.” It tells the legend of the tailor who saved Rheinfelden from the Swedes and fascinates young and old alike.

The route will then be planned to ensure there are plenty of places to sit at short intervals. City tours are also available for people in wheelchairs. The tour and sights will be slightly adjusted so that no insurmountable stairs prevent you from enjoying the experience.
