Ball track Stadtpark West
The ball track with adjoining playground in the Stadtpark West Rheinfelden delights young and old alike.
For small & big children.
Children of all ages can lever, turn, crank and shake the ball track. With a base area of around 7x7 meters, the iron construction is the dream of every marble run fan. With various levers and cranks, the ball can roll all around. The track is open to the public and recommended for children aged six and over. Thanks to a roof, it is well protected from the rain.
Ball track by Bernese artist Stefan Grünenfelder.
The popular track stood on the Gurten near Bern for 16 years. With its 21 mechanisms and a track length of almost 200 meters, it delighted marble run fans. A new and larger marble run replaced it in the fall of 2015. Migros Aare extensively overhauled the marble run and decided to give it away as part of its Culture Percent commitment. Rheinfelden responded to the public tender. The jury awarded the contract to the town due to its attractive location.
