A journey back to the Middle Ages. Join the night watchman on his rounds through the dark alleys of Rheinfelden’s old town.
Look over the night watchman’s shoulder.
He checks to see if the guards have properly raised the drawbridge over the Rhine. Whether the tower guards are performing their duties today without beer or schnapps. He checks at the barracks to see if all is quiet among the Habsburg garrison troops. And whether any individual soldiers have strayed into the neighboring “Haus zum Meerfräulein.”

The night watchman wears a cloak, a hat, and carries a lantern. He makes sure that no “riffraff” is up to no good in the town.

The tour and sights will be slightly adjusted so that no insurmountable stairs prevent you from enjoying the experience.
